Graduation Day - Parting and Pleasure סיום קורס - פרידה מעורבת בשמחה
סיום קורס לקבלת כלבי נחייה במרכז הוא תמיד ערב מרגש. הוא מציין את תחילת החיים החדשים של הצמדים של עיוורים וכלבי נחייה, שאתא סיימו את ההכשרה שלהם במרכז, וחוזרים הבייתה לעוד שבוע של הכשרה בבית. הערב הזה הוא גם מרגש עבור האנשים הנפלאים שגידלו את הכלבים מגיל חודשיים ועד שנה וחצי. בערב זה משפחות האומנה מוזמנות למרכז כדי לפגוש את האדם העיוור אליו נמסר הכלבים שהם גידלו. הנה מ<כתב אחד מעומרי, שגידל את הכלב ג'ף, שמתחיל את החיים החדשים שלו עם עינב.

אחרי שנה וחצי של גידול וחינוך בהן ג'ף היה כל עולמנו.

הגיע היום המיוחל, פגשנו את עינב.
כל התקופה שבה אתה מגדל גור נחייה יושבות לך בראש השאלות ''ואם הוא יגיע למישהו שלא ישמור עליו?'', ''ואם הוא יגיע למישהו שיזניח אותו?'', ''ואם הוא יסבול?''.
השאלות האלה התנדפו היום, פגשנו בחורה צעירה, לא פראיירית בכלל ומדהימה, עינב, המשפחה החדשה של ג'ף.
מההתחלה הבנו שיש התאמה, היא האדם הנכון לג'ף. היא מאוהבת בו, דואגת לו ומעריכה אותו.
אני מקווה שהוא יקל עליה, יעזור לה והחיים המשותפים שלהם שרק התחילו יהיו הצלחה מסחררת.

Graduation day at the Center is always exciting. This is the day when the new guide dog teams that have been matched and trained go home for an additional week of training and then begin their new life together. It is also the day when the wonderful people who raised the dogs from the age of two months to a year and a half are invited to the Center, and have the opportunity to meet the blind person who will be the dog's new owner. Here is a letter from Omri, who raised Jeff, who is now paired with a woman named Einav.
At last I can relax.
After a year and a half of raising and teaching Jeff who was our entire world,
After a difficult parting,
And after another six months of waiting with uncertainty and wondering how he was doing in his training, the day finally arrived when we met Einav.
Throughout the time that you raise a guide dog puppy you ask yourself: "What if he is given to someone who won't take care of him? What if he is neglected? What if he suffers?" Today those questions vanished when we met Einav – an amazing young woman who will be Jeff's new family.
We knew that she was the perfect person for Jeff from the start. She loves him, cares for him, and admires him. I hope that he will make things easier for her, help her and that their life together that has just begun will be a great success.
