עוד מחזור של כלבים חזר למרכז אחרי שנה עם משפחות האומנה שלהם. הם ייבחנו ויתחילו את האימונים שלהם ככלבי נחייה לעתיד. בהצלחה לכל הכלבים האמיצים, ותודה גדולה לכל משפחות האומנה הנפלאות! אז אחרי סופ״ש לא פשוט, מתחילה לעכל שהשמנמן הקטן (גדול) לא חוזר.. עם כל הכאב והגעגוע אני אני מניחה שייקח עוד זמן עד שהמועקה בגרון תעבור, או עד שאני אפסיק להסתכל על בקבוקים ריקים ולחשוב אם להביא אותם למנגו לפירוק. מה שיפה בקבוצה הזו זה שכולכם מבינים מה עובר עליי, חוויתם גם את ההרגשה של גאווה גדולה מעורבבת עם געגוע עצום...אלה, כלב נחייה, תל אביב צילום: אלי בן בוחר

Another batch of puppies returned to the Center last Friday to begin their evaluation and training to be future guide dogs. Good luck to all the wonderful puppies, and a huge thank you to the puppy raisers! Photos: Eli Ben Boher After a difficult weekend, I've finally begun to get used to the idea that the little (big) rascal is not coming back. Through all the pain and longing, I'm comforted by the fact that I left him happily romping with his siblings, and there is no place that will take better care of him. I guess it will take some time before the lump in my throat disappears, and I will no longer consider bringing plastic bottles back for Mango to tear apart.
