Flash, a yellow Labrador, was raised by Max Fineman and his family in the United States and arrived in Israel last September when he was about six months old. Max raised Flash as a Bar Mitzvah project, and he is now being raised by Nadav Garr, yet another Bar Mitzvah student and his family who live in Modi'in. This week Nadav made a presentation to his 6th grade class and explained his project. Flash was there as well as Dinka, Bracha Ben*Avraham's guide dog. The students held a class discussion in which Bracha and Nadav answered questions about blindness, guide dogs, and the activities of the Center. Flash, who is now about 10 months old, is almost as large as DInka, and is a lively rambunctious puppy. Dinka and Flash hit it off right away! The photo shows Flash, wearing his blue puppy vest, and DInka, with Jennifer Garr, Nadav's mother. We wish Nadav mazal tov and success in his Bar MItzvah studies and to Flash as he completes the year with his puppy raiser family.
פלאש, גור לברדור צהוב, גידל בארצות הברית עם מקס פיינמן ומשפחתו, שלקחו על עצמם לגדל אותו כחלק מפרוייקט בר המצווה של מקס. בספטמבר 2014 פלאש עשה את דרכו לארץ, ומשפחת גאר ממודיעין המשיכו לגדל אותו כחלק מפרוייקט בר המצווה של בנם, נדב. השבוע נדב הציג את הפרוייקט שלו בפני בני הכיתה שלו, ופלאש הגיע לכיתה יחד עם דינקה, כלבת הנחייה של ברכה בן אברהם. התלמידים שוחחו עם נדב ועם ברכה על כלבי נחייה, על עיוורון, ועל העבודה של המרכז, פלאש הוא גור בן 10 חודשים עכשיו, וכבר הגיע לגודל של דינקה. הוא ודינקה נקשרו מיד במפגש, ואנו מאחלים לו ולמשפחתו הצלחה בהמשך הדרך אצלם. ברכות מזל טוב לנדב על המשך לימודי בר המצווה שלו!! בצילום רואים את ג'ניפר, אמא של נדב, עם פלאש ודינקה.
