Mondo Visits the Knesset
M.K. Dov Lipman (Yesh Atid) and his wife Dena are raising a guide dog puppy named Mondo for the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind. This year the anniversary of the founding of the Knesset was celebrated with an open day, which was attended by more than 5,000 people. During the open day many members of the Knesset presented hobbies or projects that they pursue in their private lives, and M.K. Dov Lipman brought Mondo. He explained about his job as a puppy raiser to the public as well as the importance of volunteering for community projects. Mondo attracted a great deal of attention as he made his way through the Knesset among the guests at the open day. This was a wonderful opportunity to increase public awareness of the importance of guide dogs, and of the wonderful work done by our puppy raisers.
